Los Angeles, CA

branding

When a celebrity chef was approached to consider having a quick, casual off-shoot of his established restaurant at a mall location, Shoko helped the mall owner by creating a fresh, new brand identity for the chef and his restaurant. By meeting with the chef and learning what is important to him and experiencing what his restaurant looks and feels like, she was able to combine his food philosophy with the visual identity of his established restaurant to create an entirely new eye-catching, inspiring design. Materials such as recycled wood tile against sleek raw metal and visually textured graffiti tiles were applied to give a modern, clean-line design a layered composition, resulting in a twist on his current restaurant design identity.

Project was designed while employed at Westfield.
