Shoko contributed greatly to the success of the Village at Topanga. She was an integral part of creating the ground-up multi-building outdoor mall. She managed forty-plus tenants’ store designs while working with cross-functional teams both internally and externally; from building architects/ contractors, development/leasing teams as well as tenants’ architects, contractors and venders. She was involved every step of the tenants’ designs from concept to build-out, providing design directions, details and solutions while making sure that stores open on time and on budget.
