pieology

Pieology’s popularity as a make-your-own pizzeria has grown immensely over the past few years. Great customer service and a selection of fresh ingredients brings that customers back again and again, and their interior space reflects a modern, inspirational corporate image they’ve developed for the brand. However, when they were building at the Village at Topanga, their exterior design package wasn’t as strong as their interior concept. Shoko worked with a local operator, corporate designer and the architect of record to create Piology’s exterior design to reflect their unique corporate image. IPA wood and gridded windows that resemble steel sash windows added warmth and texture complementing their interior. She also created patio design options to enhance the customer experience. In ordered to meet strict mall criteria, she collaborated with a signage vender to create their custom blade sign.

Project was designed while employed at Westfield.
