Swiss Watch Gallery is a family-owned business that was established in 1969.  Their fixture was well-made and sturdy, but it had become outdated over the years. a/k/a creatives was hired to design a new storefront while keeping the original structure, wall elements, and new jewelry showcases. All design had to work with existing Rolex design/showcases and had to be approved by Rolex.

Careful attention was paid to creating an environment that enhances the luxury experience, to echo the high-end jewelry and watches they carry, without overtaking the delicacy of the store. The sign wall in the middle of the store is made with a series of floor-to-ceiling 2-inch half-round tubes with patinaed light bronze. This elegant element creates an expansive visual element that contrasts with their dark bronze signage. 10-foot wall elements consist of a mixture of large tiles with small-scale texture and leather panels with metal trimmings that are placed to balance out the empty wall space.

The center of the store is laid out, allowing customers to meander through display cases, taking on the newer approaches to jewelry stores. The parameter of the store is taken from the traditional use of casework placement.  These caseworks are broken into 4-foot-long pieces with alternating heights and finishes. This configuration breaks barriers between sales associates and customers while putting a guard against theft.

The bridal area is created so customers can comfortably browse fine jewelry. An oversized art frame is placed in the bridal area with framed photos of the previous customers' wedding photos.
