WDC Kitchen and Bath Showroom
Agoura Hills, CA
For WDC Agoura Hills, our main goal was to create a warm, luxurious environment that showcases a variety of plumbing fixture brands and products. Our client desired a high-end showroom where their customers could comfortably spend time exploring a vast line of products. Our biggest challenge was to create unique and iconic look and feel for each individual brand yet still carries one concept. We were also tasked to increase wall display space without blocking the glass, which takes 90 percent of the south wall.

The south-side of the showroom is dedicated to the luxury bathroom fixture display. The floor plan was crafted to encourage customers to meanders through a series of vignettes. Nine-feet high walls were pulled from the windows, creating more display area on the both side of walls while allowing sun light to come through. Slotted wood elements are placed at the end of each walls allow customers to peek into the neighboring vignette, promoting smooth transition from one brand to another. Wood slots transitions into trellis creating a sense of enclosure. Wood slot elements and wood finish with metal accent become a running theme throughout the showroom. Highly textured wall finishes are carefully selected to complement each brand without overpowering each product.

One of the highlights of the showroom is the live shower and faucet demonstration alcove. Customers can test out a variety of showers and faucets. The live shower display, which is located next to custom sales desks on the north side of the showroom, is thoughtfully designed so it is not only aesthetically appealing but also highly functional. A faux living wall in the live shower display brings energy into the space where there are no windows or sunlight.

The north side of showroom is also where customers can find luxury kitchen sink/faucet displays as well as a design center. Since many designers bring their clients to the showroom for inspiration, the design center provides private spaces for them to work. The space is equipped with a large conference room and a custom AV cabinet, as well as a large coffee counter area. The kitchen is furnished with the latest line of espresso machines and the most luxurious refrigerators.

Since there are a lot of products to display in this area, the design scheme is left rather simple for better showcasing of these products. The counter tops are marble-like engineered stone. Cabinets are in simple grey finish. We have employed rustic black and white tile to give visual impact at the design center/coffee area. All custom display cabinets are carefully designed for the specific needs of our clients.

Come visit, you may find a rubber ducky wall for a fun display for your social media updates.
